The Stafford SPCA is a registered 501(c)3, nonprofit, no-kill animal rescue organization, dedicated to saving and improving the lives of area animals. We are committed to caring for animals in need, educating the community, and putting a stop to animal cruelty and abandonment.
Please help us continue our lifesaving work!
We are truly a community organization, and we depend entirely on community donations to continue to do our work. We receive no state, county, or federal funding. We do not receive any funding from the ASPCA, Humane Society of the United States, or any other animal welfare group.
So we need YOU!
We pride ourselves on being a no-kill, no cage shelter.
Our shelter has a homelike atmosphere, designed to keep our residents happy, relaxed, and comfortable until their forever families come along.
All our shelter dogs are exercised multiple times a day, either on leash walks with volunteers or play time in the backyards, and they have toys in their 15'x15' rooms that keep them entertained and happy during down time. Our dogs even have couches to lounge on in their rooms and enjoy classical music throughout the day.
Our cats benefit from our communal, cage-free environment, enjoying the company of other cats in their rooms. They leap from vertical ledge to vertical ledge built into the walls, and lounge on the custom-made cat furniture in their rooms.
Volunteers come in throughout the day just to spend time socializing with the cats, giving out treats, and cuddling.
Everything we do for our animals is aimed at keeping them happy, healthy, and safe as they await their forever families. We pride ourselves on the high level of care and comfort that our shelter provides to our residents.
But this high level of care, especially vet care, comes with an equally high price tag.
We need monthly donors in our community to help us continue to provide the kind of care that we know our animals deserve.
We give them the same love, attention, and care that we give our own personal pets, because they're worth it. Your monthly donations show that you know they're worth it too.
From medical care, to food, to medications for special needs pets, your donation, no matter the amount, makes a huge difference in the lives of our shelter animals.
We rely on the generosity of our community to be able to go that extra mile for our furry friends.
So can you help today by becoming a monthly donor?
